Arthur Franklin Mapes 
I read the article and it brought tears to my eyes. He was my uncle and I remember him as such a quiet man. I could do a woody woodpecker laugh (when I was young) and Uncle Art always wanted me to do it. He was such a humble soul. I know he would be so PROUD of this web site and all you are doing in his memory! What an exceptional granddaughter you are Angie.
